Learning to identify and recognize consonants and their associated sounds within words is made much easier with the aid of this phonics puzzle series. There are 21 reversible puzzles, 42 in all, (one for each consonant in the alphabet) each die cut into three interconnecting pieces. One side of each puzzle shows the consonant and a picture and corresponding word beginning with that consonant. The reverse puzzles show three words using that same consonant as the initial, medial and final letter/sound. These pieces are labeled for easy student identification. The letters “H, Q, and Y” are illustrated only as initial and medial sounds. Each puzzle measures 9"x2-5/8" for easy motor manipulation.
