Created to specifically enhance the students’ vocabulary and add to speaking, reading and writing enrichment. Each of the 40 self-correcting puzzles has four parts: a word, a synonym for the word, an antonym for the word, and a homophone for the word. The basic word is on the top, largest piece of the puzzle. The three segments that interlock below contain a synonym, antonym and a homophone for the basic word. We call each set of four words an Incentonym. The successful combination teaches and reinforces as well as complements dictionary and thesaurus study skills. It is an excellent means to help the creative writer clarify his/her work.
