Postcards from Dr. Seuss (Book 1)

This book begins with an exploration of Dr. Seuss himself. The stories that follow first present from Dr. Seuss to the student a postcard related to the story. Then students choose differentiated activities either from a Tic-Tac-Toe board, a Spinner, from a deck of cards, or by rolling a cube, each side describing an activity.
Reproducible activity pages help students apply skills using Bloom’s Taxonomy, Williams’ Taxonomy of Creative Thought, the Creative Problem Solving process, and Synectics.

While engaged in activities, kids of all ages are able to enjoy a picture book while they are also challenged and taught to think critically.
