This book on a CD-ROM is divided into five sections, each with 23 functional topics.Print the activities in black and white or color.The sections are:

• Giving Details—Students learn to elaborate on common topics, likes and dislikes, and things about themselves and their belongings.Topics include Your Classmate, Your School Day, Your Weekend, and more.
• Previous Experiences—Students talk about what's already happened with topics such as Before School, At the Mall, On the Computer, and more.
• Sequences and Procedures—Students talk about their routines with topics such as Eat Neatly, Sneeze Appropriately, Get Ready for School, and more.
• Problem Solving: What to Do—Students learn how to deal with demanding situations including If You Are Lost, If You Are Hurt, and more.
• Problem Solving: What to Say—Students learn the appropriate language to use during challenging situations like If a Stranger Approaches, If You are Tired, and more.
Each of the 115 topics is presented at three levels of difficulty:

• Level One includes sentences with a missing word or words.The student fills in the blank to complete each sentence by selecting one of the two choices.I play during ________. ( gym or recess)
• Level Two requires the student to complete the same sentences he completed in Level One; however, now that he has had practice, he is not given the two choices.He must complete each sentence by accessing the appropriate word from memory or by formulating another answer.I play during ___________.
• Level Three challenges the student even further by only providing him with sentence starters for the same sentences.I play ____________.
