Contains 97 exercises with decreasing type size, all in red text.
This program is designed to improve visual discriminations. Errors caused by the lack of good visual discrimination are: Reversals, skips, left-to-right directionality, omissions, subsitutions, and excursions over the page with the eyes. The program is appropriate for beginning readers, remedial cases at all levels, and adults.
Progress charts are provided at the end of each section of this program. It is recommended that the student record his time as he finishes each exercise on these charts. The diminishing times recorded as he profresses through the exercises will be reflected in these progress charts giving the student an additional form of feedback and reinforcement.
There are several type sizes in the program. The type size in section one may be too large for an older or adult learner. If this is the case, simply move him into section two. Conversely, if a younger learner cannot handle the smaller type size in section two, have himdo section one again. There is little likelihood that the tracking sequence could be memorized.
