The effects of Global Warming on the environment and human life are varied, while some effects of recent climate change may already be occurring. Students will understand how Global Warming differs from natural climate change and how the evolution of human society has depended on a steady climate. We also look at rising sea levels, glacier retreat and altered patterns of agriculture which are cited as direct consequences of Global Warming. As well, regional effects include extreme weather events, diminishing fresh water supply, human & wildlife health, and economic impacts. Our resource is a real time-saver with reading passages and student activities provided along with color mini posters, hands-on activities, crossword, word search and a final quiz.
