Look 'N Cook Program <show description>
Look ’n Cook has three components: Cookbook, Lesson Plans and DVD Set.
The Cookbook features 62 step-by-step recipes with colorful illustrations that are clear, concise and easy to “read.” Colourcoding helps students follow measurement and temperature requirements. Cookbook has laminated pages and a vinyl easel binder.
Lesson Plans feature 40 lessons on kitchen safety, cooking techniques and nutrition using the Cookbook recipes. Each lesson lists objectives, materials, and procedures with teaching suggestions. Lesson plans also include a PDF for printing out extra recipe pages for each student.
The DVD Set presents the 62 recipes as separate movies, each about 2 minutes long. Cooking steps are illustrated with easy-to-follow live action video.
Also covers important cooking concepts like safety, kitchen tools and cooking hygiene.
